POLARIS was not imaging during summer months (mid-May to late September), but imager stand-by health is being continually monitored so as to gain familiarity with the instrument under extreme conditions. Imager health may currently (as of 1st Sep 2000) be classified as `EXCELLENT.' A tutorial on how to interpret the quantities presented in the GPS/NTP health plot is found in the NTP FAQ.
